NVIS COMPATIBLE GLASS

We offer a broad range of NVIS compatible compositions in compliance with the current MIL-STD-3009 and previous MIL-L-85762 color requirements for LED and incandescent sources. Our engineering team can help you determine the optimal filter to meet color and radiance requirements based on the specific LED type you’re using.

Each filter is engineered to meet narrow color ranges – much tighter than military standard – to create a consistent illuminated color appearance in all applications. This makes for a superior product line with consistent and uniform spectral properties across the board. 

Our NVIS glass compositions can be molded into complex forms that are traditionally difficult and expensive to achieve through fabricating.  They’re also available as 6.5” squares of filter glass, which can be finished to exacting thicknesses and fabricated into a variety of shapes.
